U1 Power is pleased to announce its participation in the factory acceptance of the first batch of Stamford medium-speed alternators at Stamford’s Xiangjiang (China) facility. These alternators, newly developed and produced by Stamford, will be integrated into U1 Power’s upcoming 1250kW continuous power gas generator sets for overseas customers.

Key Alternator Models Accepted

S7L1D-J62 Wdg.312 – Rated Power: 1562.5kVA / 1250kW

S7L1D-H62 Wdg.312 – Rated Power: 1300kVA / 1040kW

Main Features:

  • Operating Speed: 1000 rpm

  • Pole Number: 6 poles

  • Winding Pitch: 2/3

  • Connection: 3-phase, 4-wire, Y type

  • Excitation: Brushless PMG with DECS-100 AVR

  • Insulation: Class H, Protection: IP23

  • Duty: Continuous S1 Operation

These medium-speed alternators are designed for high efficiency, compact size, and high power density, actively responding to the growing demand for multi-pole alternators in gas power plants, marine propulsion, and oilfield power applications.

Milestone for Future Gas Gensets

By completing this acceptance, U1 Power has become the first buyer worldwide of Stamford’s newly produced 1300kW, 1000rpm, 6-pole alternators (double bearings, 2/3 winding pitch). A total of 20 such alternators will later be integrated into gas gensets for associated petroleum gas (APG) power plants, delivering reliable power for overseas oilfield operations.

The successful acceptance of Stamford’s first batch of medium-speed alternators represents an important milestone. It demonstrates Stamford’s leadership in alternator innovation and U1 Power’s forward-looking commitment to providing high-performance, durable gas generator sets for demanding industrial environments.
